Hi family, and happy new year!
This January we are starting off with a "salad" for dinner, since we are all trying to eat healthier 😉
Here's what you need to know.
Sunday salad will be a yummy taco salad.
Bring one item to contribute to the taco salad, a topping for the Sundaes 🍨 and a side dish to share.
Here are some ideas to help you prepare for our meal together...
Taco Salad--
meat--Gloria and Allison (no more will be needed)
beans--kidney or black
grated cheese--
chopped lettuce
diced onion
diced tomatoes
sliced olives
sourcream
salsa (2 or 3 bottles would be nice)--
guacamole
tortilla chips/cornchips (3-4 bags)
anything else?
Sundaes:
Vanilla ice cream-3-4 half gallons
toppings--anything you choose
whipped cream
nuts
Sides: ideas could include, Mexican rice, refried beans, more chips & salsa, Mexican layered dip, enchiladas, tamales, quesadillas...
