Family Brunch in December

Merry Merry! The holiday season is upon us and we are excited to share a meal together in celebration of it!

This month we will have a Second Sunday Brunch at 1pm on December 3rd at the Burnett Home (1511 Anton Place in Wenatchee)

Here is the food sign up sheet. Please send a message to Cindy letting her know what you'll bring, which will also help her know how many waffles she'll need to make.

We are grateful for family!

This is a delightful time of year to spend with family, and we can’t wait for our November Second Sunday!

Second Sunday in November will take place in the Gunter Home. We will gather at 5:30pm for dinner. Our theme this month is comfort/diner  home cooked meals, so bring an entree and two sides to share! If you’re having trouble capturing the essence of the theme, think fried chicken and Mac n Cheese, and whatever else you could imagine on a menu with those items.

We will also be playing BINGO - a tradition the Burnett Crew introduced to the Family last year. Bring fun/funny gifts you find within your home or a candy bar to contribute. All players should bring at least one contribution.

We can’t wait to see you this Sunday!

August BBQ

It's time to grill up at The Ranch for our August Second Sunday!

Bring your own meat for your family, and two summer sides to share for a fun evening. 

We'll meet at The Ranch at 5:30pm for dinner. Yum. Yum.

Hey Family,

You won't want to miss "First Sunday", coming up this week, July 2nd. We have extra family in town this weekend, The Ben Wards and the Alisa Stoddards, and maybe more. Let's meet this Sunday, same time, same place (5:30 @ the Ranch) --this will replace July's Second Sunday.

Theme: BIRTHDAY BASH🎂!! June is a biggie in our family, and word has it that Ledger is leading the charge for July! It just makes sense to celebrate all of us🎈

Get Yer Sweet Tooth On!!

In honor of our beloved father and grandpa, it's time to celebrate! His birthday is this Tuesday, June 6th!  

We invite all of you, wherever you are, to wish Grandpa Jim a very happy birthday by sippin' a yummy Rootbeer float in his name! If you're not feelin' a Rootbeer float, don't worry...Grandpa loved all things sweet - he'll appreciate any sugar intake honoring his sweet tooth.

Work Party Update!

We can't wait to see y'all this weekend for our work party and BBQ at The Ranch.

We've added a little more time to the fun. We'll begin at 9:30 and continue to 12:30pm.

Don't forget to bring some yummy side dishes for the BBQ.

Mark your Calendars for Second Saturday...

Hello all.

Our May Dinner is going to be something extra special! The Ranch will host the annual Spring Clean-up, with a BBQ to follow. Instead of our Second Sunday dinner, we are calling this our Second Saturday BBQ. You won't want to miss it, especially since there will be prizes!

Auntie Marcia and Uncle Jon will be heading up the work party, and we need all helping and able hands to join in... did we mention there will be prizes? Some of grandma and grandpa's treasures will be among the finest prizes gifted for happy worker bees.

Come join in the fun at 10am, and the BBQ will follow at noon. For the BBQ, please bring 2 sides to share, and the meat will be provided.

We can't wait to see you on the Second Saturday, May 13, 2017 at 10am.

We had a sweet break for summertime fun this summer, but it's time to get together and catch up with each other! This Sunday we will enjoy a Second Sunday Supper at 5:30 pm at The Ranch. We will send out more details regarding the food later this week. Mark your calendars!

We will be postponing our SS festivities until the second week of Septemeber. May you all have a wonderful August, enjoy the first day of school, and we shall feast in a few weeks and catch up on all of our summer adventures.

Second Sunday BBQ Bash

The Summer is here and it's time for some food, family and fun. Second Sunday will be BBQ style - you bring your own meat and two summer side dishes to share! The weather will be perfect for the affair! 

In honor of Grandpa's birthday we will be celebrating with some yummy sweet treats. 

We'll see you at The Ranch on June 12th at 5:30pm. 

March Mealtime

Hello all. 

Can you believe we get to celebrate March together this Sunday? Yes, Second Sunday is here and we all need to enjoy some yummy food together. 

What's our March theme?

We are infusing an Asian style into our main course and side dishes - be it rice or noodles, chicken or beef, your favorite Asian dish is requested at our meal! 

Please bring one main course dish and two side dishes  (dessert is included in the side dish category) 

If you decide to bring a dessert, may we request the color green displayed in or on your tasty treat, please? The luck of the Irish is at hand, and we thought our dessert could use a green theme of its own this Sunday! 

And most importantly, please remember this month is March Baby Sunday. Send your cutest baby photos to Aunt Kathy or Aunt Linda by Sunday and enter to win the cutest baby award. For more details, refer to the email from Aunt Kathy, which was sent a few weeks ago.

Hey, 2016! It's time for SS!

Hi family, and happy new year! 

This January we are starting off with a "salad" for dinner, since we are all trying to eat healthier 😉

Here's what you need to know. 

Sunday salad will be a yummy taco salad. 

Bring one item to contribute to the taco salad, a topping for the Sundaes 🍨 and a side dish to share. 

Here are some ideas to help you prepare for our meal together...

Taco Salad--

meat--Gloria and Allison (no more will be needed)

beans--kidney or black

grated cheese--

chopped lettuce

diced onion

diced tomatoes

sliced olives

sourcream

salsa (2 or 3 bottles would be nice)--

guacamole

tortilla chips/cornchips (3-4 bags) 

anything else?

Sundaes:

Vanilla ice cream-3-4 half gallons 

toppings--anything you choose

whipped cream

nuts

Sides: ideas could include, Mexican rice, refried beans, more chips & salsa, Mexican layered dip, enchiladas, tamales, quesadillas...
